When a 2 Post Lift Makes More Sense

A 2 post lift is usually the first choice for general repair and servicing work. If your workshop is doing brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts, undertrays, inspections and routine servicing, wheel-free access is what you need.

For inspection work, wheel alignment, underbody checks, exhaust work, leak checks and larger vehicles, a 4 post lift often makes more sense. It is also useful where you want a dedicated inspection or alignment bay rather than a general strip-down repair bay.
