Front Toe Adaptors

At Supalign we’re always looking for new innovative ways to help you with your alignments.

Here we have our 2 post front toe adaptor kit, these enable the heads of the CCD aligner to be lowered to ensure uninterrupted readings from front to rear as normally the arms of a 2 poster would interfere.

This will enable easy adjustment of front toe & some front Cambers suspended.

So how does it work?

Step 1

Simply drive the vehicle into the work area (flat floor required) put the equipment on and get to the front readings on the computer, press the freeze button and the readings will be held.

Step 2

Now lift the vehicle using the lift ensuring the brake pedal depressor is held firm.

Step 3

Now place in the Front Toe Adaptors between the clamp and the head, which will lower the heads beneath the arms of the 2-poster, then press unfreeze and there you have live readings in the air and the drop in the suspension compensated for.

We strongly recommend this procedure is only used for Front Toe & some Front Cambers only.

We would always recommend an alignment lift where possible as this would always be the easiest way of achieving quick accurate results.

However, unfortunately, this is not always possible so when using a 2 poster or mid-rise scissor lift we recommend alignment tables, these will ensure the front and rear adjustments are made with ease & also earning more revenue.

Front Toe Adaptors are not a substitute for an alignment lift and we strongly recommend full adjustments made with the vehicle in settled as driven condition.
